1. About This Application

These Terms of Service govern the use of the Heppe-Smith Publishing Content Manager (the "Application"), a proprietary content distribution and social media management tool developed and operated by Heppe-Smith Publishing ("we", "us", "the Publisher").

The Application is used exclusively by Heppe-Smith Publishing to manage and distribute pre-approved marketing content to social media platforms — including TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram — on behalf of authors published under the Heppe-Smith Publishing imprint.

2. Scope of Use

The Heppe-Smith Publishing Content Manager is operated solely by authorised personnel of Heppe-Smith Publishing. The Application is not a consumer product and is not made available to the general public. Its functions include:

• Scheduling and publishing content to social media accounts managed by Heppe-Smith Publishing
• Generating and distributing promotional media for published authors and series
• Managing content calendars across multiple author platforms
• Interfacing with social media platform APIs on behalf of authorised publisher accounts

3. Platform API Usage

The Application integrates with third-party social media platforms via their official APIs, including the TikTok Content Posting API. All API usage complies with the respective platform's developer terms and content policies. Content published through the Application is created, reviewed, and approved by Heppe-Smith Publishing prior to distribution.

The Application does not collect, store, or process data belonging to any third-party users. It operates exclusively with accounts owned and controlled by Heppe-Smith Publishing.

4. Intellectual Property

All content distributed through the Application — including text, images, and video — is the intellectual property of Heppe-Smith Publishing or the respective named authors. Unauthorised reproduction or distribution of this content is prohibited.

5. Limitation of Liability

Heppe-Smith Publishing operates the Application on a best-efforts basis. We accept no liability for service interruptions caused by third-party platform outages, API changes, or force majeure events. The Application is provided without warranty of uninterrupted availability.

6. Changes to These Terms

Heppe-Smith Publishing reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. The date of the most recent revision is shown at the top of this page. Continued use of the Application following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from the use of the Application shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
